armpit from hell

Hi there retouch pro peeps. I lurk fairly often, don't post all that much

I have run into a really wack looking armpit vagina that I can't figure out how to tackle. Help? Ideas, techniques, whatever are super appreciated.

heres the image it came from - I think just cropping the armpit out makes the image proportion/flow look odd.

Try the clone tool at 10% opacity, change the source frequently and paint with a large soft brush. Mask the leather back in to get smooth skin color up to the edge.

Its not the armpit from hell, did you try to take it off? Normally its just a bit of work with the clone and healing tools.

I did a quick one here, you've got to keep the fold from the armpit or else it looks weird...

It still needs work, a bit of D&B to get the skin correctly but since its just a quick try I got lazy...

Anyway next time just do it first, sometimes when I see stuff like that that I have to retouch I say "its super hard, or impossible" but the truth is once you start you find it that it isn't as complicated as you thought...

Here is my shot. took maybe 5 min

i used the patch tool to remove the labia and replaced it with part of her neck, then used some soft light and color layers to try to tweak the colors down a little...

the patch tool kicks ass for getting rid of armpit vages

You have to stay under 100k, save for web/devices sometimes is ok; if it's not possible to stay under 100 and keep quality upload it to imageshack/flickr/yoursite and post the link here

A fresh brain this morning and some attention to detail has it fixed well enough.

While we're here, can I get a critique on the retouching overall? I would love it.

You did a good job with the armpit, although there's contrast in the line that's parallel to the arm, overall skin retouch is good but you neglected the arm and above the armpit you retouched, it looks "blotchy".
Also there's a line in the shadow on one of the shoulders (the shadow that the head is making) that my eye draws to either darken the line or brighten the shadow. You could also clone out the edge of the table since you can still see it a little bit

I think there are a number of issues here. First, there's the idea of simplifying the armpit to eliminate a lot of the unattractive extra folds. Then there's the idea of needing to create shading that's believable for what is there when your done simplifying the armpit. And as long as we're working on this we should try to make the angles of connection as attractive as possible. And then ther's that back of the bra creeping back into the frame and causing some distracting bulging. So maybe something like this. A little rough, but you get the idea.

hahahah that's what I thought. You should keep the armpit, crop it out to just the armpit and make a poster that says, 'armpit or vagina'. You'll get tons of hits if you flickr or use deviant. Trust me.
