Re: Demystification of YERVANT

Agree... Your work already looks pretty similar to Yerv. What do you find so different?

Re: Demystification of YERVANT

This is what I don't get... why would someone want their work to look EXACTLY like some other guy's work?

If you can do the same and he did it first WHY would I hire you? Because you're cheaper? Because you are in my area? I don't get it. U want to have his left overs?

Strive to be UNIQUE not some other guy's shadow!

Re: Demystification of YERVANT

Personally I really think the world of the over-photoshopped wedding picture is a strange one… they don't look particularly authentic, truthful.

LOL, you would be a special client. There are lots of people that want their photos to look like x or y. You would be surprised what people pay for, one sees bad actionfantastic photos the client just sees "wow".

Being behind the "scenes" makes us have a different taste and point of view of the product. I bet when people (outside the retouch and photography) saw your retouch work that you considered sub par all of them said "wow that's really cool, its great, you're unique"

Yeah but people say that with everything in your work no?
Even if you think some are sub par or "you fake it till you make it"?

At least that's what happens with my work, some work I think is sub par I still get praised for it...

I was kidding.... what happened to the sense of humor around here?

(I still think they were right tho )

PS: Is not the praise is who u get it from... if you show your work to your friends, you're jut fishing for compliments.
