Demystification of YERVANT

Hello, I want to, once and for all, break down the YERVANT technique! Who's with me here???
My retouching experience isn't that good, but I want to find out what technique he use to retuchs his art-photos.
Many people say: he uses lucis art plugin; he uses Nik software ColorEfexPro; he uses Topaz Adjust; but if is true I don't know how he combine them to finish his photos

Hopefully that I will find out how YERVANT get the finish result, and people are more than welcome to write opinions about the YERVANT technique...

Cheers to all!

DANIEL

You can see YERVANT work at www.yervant.com. He is the Master of wedding photography.
I want to get knowledge of how he is getting the finishing of his photos.
If anybody had a tutorage with YERVANT and can let us know about his techinque, would be highly appreciated.

I dont see a general style, but a lot of different things, like black and white, sometimes vignetting, sepia.
If you see a image that you find has the style you are after, post a link to that one. That would make it easier.
There were to many links, albums and stuff on the site for me to figure out what style you ,meant.

His website is really annoying. He's selling his photoshop actions for $150 a pkg, and evidently the website software also.

well the reality is his photography is really good. vignette, soft focus on some images, and film grain

I agree with the website design I had a hard time getting to the actual images.

Also as others have stated I don't see a style in the retouch, I do see well composition, interesting, some "dave-hill-fiscus-esqued", composited photos.

And as others said as well his photos are based on good shots.

From what I'm seeing on most of the wedding photographers and on the quote I have here, most don't do too complicated retouch because the number of photos is restricting to do stuff to each manually.

One word MARKETING, did you see the studio? Looks like a high couture boutique. I imagine he not only goes by marketing but gives out interesting packages (and his photos are good too), sure he may not get all the bookings on the 20k mega package but its also there for marketing reasons.
