What do you think of my work ??

Hello,

I really need some honest opinions about my work, and what you like/dislike about it.

Thanks in advance.

Re: What do you think of my work ??

First, u need to work on better images.

ALWAYS credit the photographer.

Second... don't remove freckles! they are natural and beautiful.

Always try to keep it natural (eyes, skin texture)

Have fun and keep practicing.

Re: What do you think of my work ??

In both pictures you slimmed down the lips too much. Also keep the freckles.. the second photo in particular would look very cool if you'd have left the freckles and not softened it so much. Also in the second photo I don't really see why you changed her eyebrows. The originals go with her facial features and aren't ugly even though the arch is further out on her face, unless there is a major flaw, eyebrows for the most part can be kept in the same shape with just cleaning up the stray hairs and perhaps darkening or lightening them when needed. I'm not a professional by any means, but a thing i've noticed with plastic surgeons is that some alter a facial feature and it no longer goes with the "flow" of a person's face. Be careful when altering facial features, minimally is best.

Depends on what your going for. One thing though, its obvious your familiar with cloning and patching, so why did you neglect to nail that stray hair next to the brunettes nose?

Keep the freckles! thats my opinion, unless this is an excercise in removing unwanted freckles.

lol

in number 1, leave the shape of her nose alone, it really DOES fit her face, by slimming it you turn her relativly flat cheeks into some pretty massive real estate.

also, number 2, give her bigger pupils. you can just select the rise size DB brush and burn them in.

all in all i like the work. keep it up.

Re: What do you think of my work ??

why did you touch her teeth in the 1st one? there was nothing wrong with them. in the retouched photo they looked like you painted them manually, not natural. it's better to keep the original teeth. the same with the eyes

Re: What do you think of my work ??

Thanks all for your comments. I noticed that the main thing that you disliked is that I don't do a natural retouch, but some friends like to have major changes in their photos, while others ask me to keep it natural. honestly I like to do major changes cuz it more challenging! Anyways you are right, I probably shouldn't change much.

well some "not natural" looks can work for someone. but I was talking about her teeth which just don't look real.. the photo still needs look like a photo you know..

I prefer the before images much better than the after ones.
