Re: How to accevive this color look? Can I post l

It sounded violent to me, so I thought it would sound violent to anybody else. Being critic with the others stuff is something that should be taken with delicacy in order to not offend and I see you didn't take delicacy with your comments when making a critic, at least, that's what I have red so far. However, if you enjoy being that way, that's your way to express yourself. Would be better if you chose being polite instead, somehow, agressive, but's your choice and depends on you and your goals. As I said, that's the way you express yourself, and no one can censor that. I'm glad the admins of this forum are quite open in order to respect even the most uncommon and harsh point of view about something because I think free speech must be 100% free in order to honor those 2 words. The reader will chose what it wants at the ends.

that maybe I could see though.

I wasnt pinpointing any one particular person either, I was passing comment on the look and technique, didnt say that the artist was bad, or the person asking was bad or anythign along those lines. Why worry so much about it? And I certainly wasnt trying to turn this into an ethics debate on a thread that someone asked a question on how to do a specific technique. Its all good , chill out :-)

I think garibaldi was quite accurate with his reply, first ironically pointing out that the technique is not a high end one, and then actually explaining how to achieve such a look...

I don't know what's wrong with that... he gave the best possible answer in my opinion...

It's not the first time someone tells you to chill out pal.

Re: How to acheive this color look? Can I post lin

There are 2 threads that might help the OP:

http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/pho...ok-thread.html

http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/pho...-all-help.html

Although I agree that a poorly done HDR can achieve the same effect.

I also agree that garibaldi's reply while not helpful was not offensive. But then again this "look" is correctly stated, not a high-end one. Or at least those images weren't in any way shape or form impressive to me.

Thanks.
