Wonderful Tone

I chance across this amazing site with wonderful tones. Wondering if anyone can shed some light on how it can be achieved. It looks cross processing though.

It's done by: curves (by channel), channel mixer, color balance, gradient maps and selective color. Sometimes is just one of these, sometimes a mix. I tryed few times this kind of technique. You cn also make it short and look for vintage actions.
