and I quite can't figure out why.... I don't think my images I uploaded there were substandard =/ here's one of them attached here (the raw posted on the retouch forum there) what do you think... is this good enough to make a profile there? also any C&C on the retouch welcomed here is a large version of the retouch: http://mobilefiles.ca/images/Robert_Randall_L.jpg

Re: what is the deal with "modelmayhem"? I presume you tried to qualify as Photoshop Wizard... You did follow the rules and posted 4 images and all of them had different model (ie. no 4 different versions of image you posted here?)

| Re: what is the deal with "modelmayhem"? I'm not sure where you choose what to qualify as... and I did upload 8 retouched images... I guess someone there does not like me :P I am trying again.. I took a couple of images off the list as they are more of photography rather than retouching... ( I guess you should have separate profiles as a photographer and retoucher there.?) | Re: what is the deal with "modelmayhem"? nope... "not accepted" sqr it edit: i had this account for a long time, but I had not made a profile... I see that when you make the account you choose the "type", probably it was as photographer but could not change it from the settings. Last edited by ShadowLight; 10-14-2009 at 10:11 AM. |

Re: what is the deal with "modelmayhem"? It definitely needs to be a standard file type - jpeg, GIF, not sure about PNG - and it has to be below a certain size, again I think 250kb.

Re: what is the deal with "modelmayhem"? I did upload the images, and there was no problem but the profile did not get approved for some reason ...

Re: what is the deal with "modelmayhem"? All I can think is review their requirements again to see what might be the problem. With retouchers they say: Clearly Show Your Skills You need to show at least some skill in retouching photos of models. Simply running a photoshop filter on an image does not qualify. We don’t expect everyone to be an expert, but at least demonstrate some basic skills with the photos you submit. Try submitting a few images that are befores and afters to give them some perspective. You do have permission to use all the photos you've retouched correct? One image to me looks suspiciously like something I've seen before.

Re: what is the deal with "modelmayhem"? I did put before/after, but then decided they don't like them as they become small (size restrictions) 2 of the images I have taken myself, 2 are from retouching forum put for retouching and I have even put the copyright of the owner when uploading in the information probably you've seen the closeup of the boy's face, the copyright is www.sxc.hu (FREE stock photo site) ... you think they may they be thinking i've ripped that one off? I am making another try now with a new profile, uploaded only 4 pics this time. I'm still on the queue... so let's see how that will come out... Last edited by ShadowLight; 10-14-2009 at 02:24 PM.
