Thanks for the info, I bought his first DVD tutorial and I learned too much from him.

I expect this new release contanins a better techniques for retouchers in photoshop.

Looks like they are price marked at $250. May this be motivation for Chris to get his DVD out the door and start making some money. I think Tarantino's retouching, from a high end perspective, could be more lucrative then Joey's.

If anyone purchases Joey's second DVD please post your review!

This is NOT a "retouching" DVD! It's mostly about Lighting, the business side of photography, although he touches on his photoshop techniques. If you know what you are talking about, paying for a decent workshop will cost you 3X more than that. But of course this is a "retouching" forum.....

Re: Sessions With Joey - Joey L Tutorial DVD

I met this kid about a year back at my place, he is very into the overall look and feel of the images, mainly setting the light and mood and basically all that stuff you see in fiscus photos.

-if you're looking for highend beauty, wait for chris t's book. i'm sure you guys will get tons out of it, and i'm pretty sure it will come at a cheaper price tag!

indeed. the retouching is 1/5 of this dvd.
lot about business/lightning...

and it's much more relevant from his first DVD, according to multiple reviews.

I have been following Joey L work for a few years and he really keeps growing as an artist/photographer and someone to learn from. I haven't seen his DVD's, but I imagine they are comparable to taking a class or seminar in Photography techniques, lighting and Photoshop tricks.

Are reviews available by a link to check out about Joey's DVD's anywhere?
Man, ole Joey is a guy full of passion, energy and focus on his work, plus being so young and gaining so much success that many of us dream of coming someday. Really enjoy his work and interested in hearing from others who ordered his DVDs.
