Re: Old Polaroid

I use Photoshop CS4. On that program you can extend the canvas by a measured amount or percent. I am unacquainted with the program you are using.

Sorry.

Re: Old Polaroid

I use a very old version of Photoshop

Corel PaintShopPro X2 will enable you to accomplish results like ours or maybe even better. you have all the tools necessary in that program

To increase canvas size - Image>Canvas size
in the pop up - In the placement area click the center bottom arrow pointing straight down - in new dimensions , height - enter 685 pixels -OK
Shift+H - adjust the Hue/Saturation
load the hair and any other objects you want to use
copy and paste them into your Polaroid picture resize them to fit and adjust hue/sat to match
use the clone brush to fill the space at the top

Aartist uses PSP and could probably give you better instructions but this is all I can remember about PSP

Re: Old Polaroid

Granny did a nice job of extending the photo to include the fireplace mantle clutter and the girl's complete head. Lots of tedious matching up but worth it for a more complete composition.

EDIT: I like that lynn55, a santa hat!!!
