Newbie Old Polaroid

Hi I'm new.I live in Fl.Just learning and a bit overwhelmed at how much there is to learn.I have corel PaintShop Pro Photo X2.I'm refreshing the color in the photo and removing little specks but the top of the young girl in photo's hair is chopped off.I was wondering if you could 'grow' some hair and just add to the top of photo it has a white border around photo that could be cropped but the top would still be gone.Suggestions and be gentle I'm just learning the lingo.Thanx, nanamacd

Re: Old Polaroid

Hello nanamacd, Welcome. You could do it the way that you suggest or use hair from someone else. If all else fails you could crop it. Uploading an example image it would give an idea as to what the problem is.

Re: Old Polaroid

Yes, you could grow some hair and add to the top of the photo.

Re: Old Polaroid

nanamacd, Neat project, I had fun doing it.
Color corrected
Added a couple inches canvas size to the top
did a jpeg artifact repair using Alien Skin Image Doctor
fixed red eye
Found a Bouffant hair wig and a Santa (for the top of the legs on the right) on the net, free transformed them to fit
using the clone tool and healing tool to even things out, roughly filled in the blank top space above the mantel till it was just above the new hair
cropped
added a new border

Have fun and good luck!
