Please give me some feedback and suggestion I am new here and new in retouching as well. I actually posted this in critique section but it seems like the posts on this section has more replies. So I hope it's OK that I repost my request. Since I don't have access to my pictures to re upload them, I will link to my previous post at critique section. http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/cri...ue-please.html This is a practice in using a variation of frequency split technique that I hope to learn more for my future retouching. Am I on the right track? Please give me some feedback and suggestions how and what to improve. Thanks very much.

Re: Please give me some feedback and suggestion Rummym, the first thing that jumps out at me is that the pores are not really there on her forehead. I don't know if this is something you could have controlled anyway...the original doesn't have a lot of detail, which makes the retouch more difficult. I would smooth out the wrinkles on her mouth's sides. The position of those wrinkles looks very strange to me, so I'd definitely fix that a bit. I think her eyes look great.

Re: Please give me some feedback and suggestion Rummym, I would go back and re-read the critiques you received on the other thread. They seem accurate to me. I would agree the result is heavy handed. The objective is to improve the skin, rather than replace it. It is very difficult to make it all blend together naturally when so much has been altered. I suppose if you don't have access to the pictures, then you cannot work on the image either. We would like to see what you end up with.

Re: Please give me some feedback and suggestion @Lightfantastic and TommyO, thank you very much both for your feedbacks. I have recently just took another headshot of the same model. Hopefully I can finish that within this week and I hope to get some more feedbacks from you guys in this great forum. Best Regards. Last edited by rummym; 11-16-2009 at 09:22 AM.
