| Re: Omg I think it was mid to late december. i know that i use a yahoo address for alot of my mail and i have recently found mail from both 2 friends and from retouchpro in my spam folder even though i've recieved previous mails fine before too (even on the same day in one case) i think it had to do with the generic subject line but i keep a close eye on my spam now and only delete them after i review the names and subjects. anyway, i'd recommend updating your spam setting to not delete right away at least for a few days and send them another mail. it took a couple days in one case but in the 4 or so mails I always got a reply. give them another try. let me know if you have success. if in a couple days you don't hear back maybe pm godmother and see if she knows if something unusual is going on. by the way, not sure what your question is but one I ask was if they could accomodate a shipping address that is different than the billing address and for security reasons they will not. Regarding my query well basically my billing address has changed recently so is different to the one that is on file for my order so I was just asking them if they need me to update them with a new address. I've sent them like 4 mails since Xmas and no reply. But I also sent them one from my yahoo address too so lets see what happens. Cheers for the reply though. Will keep you posted. |

| Re: Omg she is always quite busy but willing to help plus she has a vested interest and that would be my next step. hope it is not necessary. i would also guess they are not a big shop and could well be swamped with work to push this new dvd out on time. but regardless customer service is critical if they want to succeed. fingers crossed for you, i know it's an unsettling feeling to shell out that money and feel like it's a black hole. |

| Re: Omg Very upset here tonight. Finally got a response from them and all they said was "Your order has been cancelled, sorry it didn't work out". No mention if my CC has been credited or I should place another order becasue of the address change. |

| Re: Omg wow i'm surprised. it could be a language thing i suppose since we have no idea who you are communicating with. also it sounds like you sent multiple emails two days ago (ie from different addresses) which can be a customer service nightmare and they may be totally confused. hard for me to say but in general i do understand your being upset. and i have to agree that that they needed to clarify the card was credited (can you check yours online- although that can take a few days to show up i think). just because godmother tries to help people i'd be tempted to pm her and recommend she read the last page of this thread's postings so she is aware of the immature customer service happening. if it were me i'd want to know. but then i might be so ticked off at this point that i'd look elsewhere. edit-certainly i'd reply back and ask about the credit just so if nothing else they hopefully learn that while it might be crystal clear to them it isn't to the customer. |

| Re: Omg PM'd Natalia They wouldn't be confused about the multiple email address thing as I stated clearly my order number and that it was associated with a different email address. All I was trying to do was find out if I should update them with my new billing address incase some sort of verifications is done once again before shipping. To make things worse I even got a reply back from the head hencho himself Vitaly whom I must say is one of the rudest people I have interacted with. Completely ignored what I was trying to achieve and just fobbed me off. I will check on Monday to see if the money has been credited back and will try and place another order when it is actually released. You know another person would probably just wait for this to be leaked on the net after release and not pay but I want to pay for this and I want this product and want to purchase it the legal way. This could be an isolated incident but word of caution to Natalia, if you decide to make a DVD again I sincerely hope you have the resources at your disposal to do everything yourself and working with these types will do you no favours. Ok rant over. :-) |

However Vitaly said ti was ok to order again and he even gave me the original coupon discount too so all is well once again. :-) I feel like a noob now. Although I had an inkling it was somethign to do with that. |

| Re: Omg I think both the download and hard copy become available at the same time, right now 29th Jan. btw there is another video up on the website as well as a complete table of contents. Check it out. The extra video is called 'candy lips' and is something I have wanted to know how to do for yonks. She was invited to do it (and payed), she's not responsible for release dates, customer services and all that stuff.... Vitaly is the guy who's producing and doing all that stuff... |

| Re: Omg TreesofMyTime, While you are waiting for Vitaly, I can partially answer the question. Discount codes are offered as incentives or rewards to certain demographics. For example, if you are a member of NAPP (National Assoc. of Photoshop Professionals) you are entitled to a certain discount and this DVD is advertised to the NAPP members. My understanding is that if you had purchased the 1st DVD offered by this DigitalPhotoshopRetouching, then you were sent a serialized code as both a reward for being a customer and as an incentive to purchase the new DVD. There may be other incentives offered to other groups and partners, but people must qualify. These codes are not issued to everyone like a supermarket coupon. Regards, Murray |

To: Everyone Else: If you go back to http://www.digitalphotoshopretouchin...ing-dvd-2.html you will see that the page has been updated. They have added two more video clips to augment the 1st one on Camera RAW. Furthermore there is detailed description of all of the sections of the DVD. Everyone should have sufficient info to assess the value proposition for this DVD. It is nice to see that DPR has responded to the concerns that many people have expressed regarding additional info on content. Regards, Murray |
