Help - Someone in my picture has her eyes closed!

The person in the photo with me has her eyes closed.

Is there anyone who can retouch this photo for me to make it appear as if her eyes are open?

I would greatly appreciate your help with this!

I have attached the photo.

Welcome to restouch pro, as I understand it this isn't a forum to ask for retouch. It is a forum for learning how to apply retouch knowledge yourself. If you have other photos taken at the time you can look for one that has a similar pose and then copy that photo paste it on the one with the eyes closed, and in photoshop use a mask to only show the eyes and move it so they are placed in the right position.

You would need another pic with the lady's eyes open to be able to copy them and paste 'm in the other pic.

Next time you shoot an 'event' (this was the presentation of a present?) shoot sequences. 3 Exposures everytime, in quick succession. That way you'll probably have at least one image of which you can copy the (open) eyes, or other details, if neccessary.

Thank you W. Smith! I will definitely keep that in mind at future events.

At my Weight Watchers meeting on Jan 4th, my leader presented me with a "key" charm for my Weight Watchers key chain because I had reached the level as a Lifetime Member. (I've lost 50 pounds over the past 32 weeks).

I asked another member to take a picture of my leader and me. I did not review the picture before leaving. I should have, but others were waiting to ask our leader some questions so I was in a rush.

mykidsmom, Welcome to RetouchPRO Hope you enjoy your stay here and make lots of friends. Poke around, ask questions, have fun!

If it were me, I would cut the other lady out of the picture if the closed eyes are that offensive, and leave the important Key in the picture even though there is a cut off hand there also

Finding the right eyes to put in place is extremely difficult and would probably make the person look very different if someone knows her.

I found these eyes, and they are not even close, as you can see..

Me thinks you have a difficult quest without another picture of the lady with her eyes open

<Added>

Cuervo79 was right about RetouchPRO being a forum for learning how to apply retouch knowledge yourself.

There are a lot of programs available for free that would allow you to do what you want...

You might check this thread out for some suggestions..: http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/sof...-software.html

Good Luck and have FUN!! (sent PM)

Thank you, OlBaldy! I actually think the eyes you made opened look really good. Thanks for the suggestions and thanks for taking the time to retouch that photo. It looks better than the original for sure.

If you are like me, I learn better from examples rather than reading instructions. So, with that in mind, I have attached my version using a set of borrowed eyes from the web and masking them in to fit and a few other changes i.e. darken and blur background, correct for the red color cast, etc., to give you 'an example' of what can be done if you so wish. Plus it's fun and good practice for me. If I can help with further explanation of what I did, just ask.

By the way, congrats on your weight loss!

Cheers.
