Okay, I uploaded you a psd-file and created an action to do the separation to clarify: (had to upload there because the file is ~3mb).

BTW.: To separate the CMYK-channels you need the "Multiply"-mode and a white layer underneath (and for LAB that'd be "Overlay" with the L-channel in "Luminosity"-mode underneath).

There it is! I made mistakes when copying out the channels. (see pic 2, thats how I did it) Also, thanks for the action, its beautiful!
