Not sure if this was already posted, so I'll toss it in the pool today.
In February of 2007 Pascal Dangin was on a panel of speakers at The New School in NYC. Called Behind the Faces of Fashion
, the presentation aimed to bring together "representatives from various facets of the fashion industry to discuss ways that fashion photography and art collide."
It's neat stuff. The audio is a but low at times but it's a worthwhile watch. A download link is available.
I enjoyed the insiders' views on fashion photography from the past through the future. But of course, it was Pascal I wanted to see. After so much talk about Pascal and the rarified atmosphere he lives in, it was refreshing to see him and hear him talk. He's human. He comes off as pretty reasonable guy despite his success and the semi-idolatry built around him in some discussions.
Pascal first presents at about the 7 minute mark, and speaks various times throughout the panel discussion later in the program.
