Any idea on getting this look

Hello.

Any idea how to get this look http://www.eugeniorecuenco.com/fichas/1091.html
I supose he uses textures and dodge and burn....
Any other tip!?

Light, creativity, styling, location, make up, models, ... as in , photography. And perhaps some compositing.

I guess you will find the key to this look not in retouching.
Like Flexmanta said you need a creativ set up and models with great styling

I see that the person also do film.
Maybe he used film light for creating the pictures.

I agree with you, light, creativity, styling, location, make up ... are very important in the work of Eugenio Recuenco, but what caught my attention was the fact that the photos look like paintings ...
Not wanting to compare my work with the work of Eugenio Recuenco because I'm light years away from his work, i tried to simulate the same look with one of my photos .

The second image looks like a composite to me look at the shadows under the female subjects I would also suggest their has been a lot of manipulation of light source the my guess the steam was added as well

ur styling is wrong, im an expert on fashion and vision,the hair is wrong the make up is wrong and so is the dress,an u probably need a different model aswell????

Lighting is the most important thing to me. Probably the colors were done by using some subtle colorized lights or maybe some filters on the camear lens.

By adding some gradients maps and solid colors I got this in PS.
