Best retouching resource video

Hello people
This is my first post here. I am looking for some advice as to the best/most comprehensive video resource for beauty photo retouching. I am a photographer and i would say i have considerable skills in retouching already, maybe an intermediate level, but want to take it up a notch or two.

Some sample of my work at http://www.modelmayhem.com/64395

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated

Thank you in advance
Robert

Re: Best retouching resource video

This is my spin and I hope others join in as well. To me it depends on your customer and your return. From what I've read on this form, if you want to do "high end retouch" for advertising etc...not only do you have to have the skills and talent but you also must spend the time (hours) to learn your skill but also alot of time on the retouch. The payback hopefully will compensate for your skill and time. On the other hand, if you are a local photographer, like myself, who shoots weddings, senior pictures, etc I'm not going to put a lot of time in a retouch unless it is discussed with the customer in advance as to what they want and they are willing to pay. I do what to improve my skills so I do the best retouch in a short period of time...from a beauty retouch to a generally better quality picture. Now for the DVD's..again it depends on your skill level with photoshop, what you want to learn and what you want to pay. First and foremost, you can't go wrong with any webinar Doug provides on this site...they are all excellent and all take your skills up a notch. I personally like Kelby training for the fundamentals of photoshop. They also offer techniques on lighting, shooting, and a host of other topics including some basic beauty retouching.

Thx for the input, and i understand totally what you mean. What is the ROI on advanced beauty retouching. firstly, i guess it is something that i really want to persue, to produce the best possible image that i can. I have many years experience with PS, just not all in the beauty retouching field. I have done most of the Lynda courses, my prev employee had a corporate account. I just need something specialised in beauty ...

Will keep an eye out for what other's thoughts/recommendations are and will def look at Doug's webinars.

Cheers
Robert

Go with the webinars...there have been over 10 (that I know of) beauty touch webinars (each over 2 hours each) by different retouchers showing their skills. Tell me a DVD that will do this?
