Robert, I just looked at your web site, awsome images and work. Do you mind if I ask you who you run your web site through? I am looking for a flash based web site that is easy to load images into and will not break the bank, maybe $150.00 a year. Some are around $400.00 a year and I can not afford that

Thank You

Re: Dry Skin, Help Please

I just looked at Amy Dresser' images and the skin looks really good. I think she had a live training session which I could not attend since I was at work. Are these recorded so one can view them later if they can not make the live one?

I'm not in the "read all posts" mood today so I just read your original one. First the retouch looks ok (although it would be better if you could show your befores). Second, you do have to take into account that not everything is done in post processing, sometimes adding a bit of oil to the model's face can give the shine you're looking for, which I think that's what your link to the example did.
As to how to do it in post from scratch that's a real mistery to me, I'll take a read on the responding posts to see what's what.

Re: Dry Skin, Help Please

Here is another where the make up was cleaned at the shoot and re-done for the second look. The skin was a lot more moist during the shoot

Re: Dry Skin, Help Please

I will post one with "color range selection" layer to add some highlights to increase the shine on the dry skin
