Fixing bodypaint

I'm newbie to this site as well as photoshop, so I need some help with retouching several photos I took. I have a bodypainting friend who painted a lovely model last week. Unfortunately, she put moisturizing cream the night before and it affected the bodypaint. It also didn't help when the room environment was on the dry side. After a while, the paint started to crack and skin showed thru the cracks. Is there a quick way to fix it in post production??

How cracked was it? Without seeing what you are up against, I would try to heal and clone the issues but it would depend on how complex the bodypaint was and how bad it cracked. I could easily envision a situation that would take days of retouching, even for a seasoned retoucher.

Try the patch tool. But, I agree...we need to see the image or at least part of it.

This time the model was painted in a simple two color jersey, so it wasn't that complex. But the artist tends to do a lot of more complex lacey corsets. Since the models are usually topless, with many not even wearing pasties, I wasn't sure if I could post them here. But I've cropped some sections out for you to see if the paint can be retouched.

Two minutes on left side only with patch tool. Work small. Circle the problem areas, drag to a good area.
