Something is missing from this image...

Ok so I have this image I shot for a band and I really like it. Its fun, different the lighting creates a great dynamic and contrast. I have done a couple "things" to the pic so far, but I am wondering what other people would do if they had a chance. Grunging it up, desaturating, adding noise, etc. It needs to really pop and I think individually the members do, but , I dont know.I am kind of stuck at the point I am. Feel free to throw out some ideas. Help me brainstorm

it's kind of a weird question without knowing the context of what the picture will be used for, what kind of band, etc.. in general it's pretty good. A couple spots could use a little lightening..and I would maybe punch up the color a little bit.

the shadows are pretty plugged up and the in focus background is quite busy. personally I would color correct the skin more (less red, more yellow) and make the metal on the bikes more metallic/shinier

Have you thought about replacing the gray carpet with stars? clouds? fog? fire? water?

I think grunge would be a mistake on this particular image as much as I like texture

The band opened for LMFAO, so they are a little electro with a little Drum and Bass feel in the lyrics. Fun, goofy guys. These will be promo pics, so they can be "out there." we have plenty of the classic "band" pics as well.

I do like the fog idea for the carpet.

I had tried blurring the background more because of the busy nature of it, but it starts to look really artificial.
