Re: white plastic looking smooth skin..plz help can you look for a closer example... If you downsize a photo to that resolution it looks like the skin has no pores. Meanwhile, have you tried doing sufraceblur? Maybe the degrunge technique? (link to the degrunge technique http://retouchpro.com/tutorials/?m=show&id=213 ) You could also copy the red channel and then paste it into a new layer, then play with the blending options or just the opacity.

Re: white plastic looking smooth skin..plz help Take a look on this thread: http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/tur...stic-skin.html The very first image is real plastic skin. Now you can think of, why plastic looks like plastic. E.g. the surface is very clean and smooth, so it has strong reflections and highlights. The overall color is about the same, all the edges are extremely sharp etc. And now think about, how you could do the same to a normal photo. My answer would be: dodge & burn, layers on "Color" mode and the clone stamp tool (maybe in combination with the path for the extreme sharp edges). Does that help you?

Re: white plastic looking smooth skin..plz help I'm not a Master nor a Pro but you might try the Median filter (Filter>Noise>Median) 5+ (depending on resolution) masked, then add some highlight reflections and maybe some curves to lighten the lights and darken the shadows
