Really nice portfolio. Really nice photos, lighting and postprod.

Just imagining why you ask how to archieve the skin look like in your examples. You already got many just like or better made in your gallery.

Only little difference for my eyes is the little different lighting for pictures.

edit: except, some of you gallery photos are smoothed out more than the example ones.

Agree.. that blur is bad way to go =D
So far most best results ive seen comes out of healing + d/b.
I havent mastered that perfectly yet but learning all the time.

Have you tried the frequency separation method?

Flexmanta describes how to do the frequency separation in that post.. 9th post i think.

I´m still checking out qstra photos.. And for me it looks like nice careful healing and d/b + toning. Most of the pictures at the qstra portfolio has been taken with middle format camera which provides lovely details <3 If only i could get my hands on one of those ;D

Re: Skin retouch qstra style

Yep. gotta try to sleep too. But still.. All the forums, topics and posts that ive read so far.. Best way is to heal + d/b, you get the most out of the pictures. I´m not sure, but I think the most "best" retouchers use the d/b too.

Should propably ask from Flexmanta, Godmother or CalvinHollywood if they know any other methods worth learning.. (So far the most impressive looking and best explained work at retouchpro. There is other great ones too but these 3 came first in mind.)
