Hi, I've been checking out this forum for quite some time now, reading threads, but never written a post myself, so I thought it was time.
I'm a student in sweden(sociology) but my interest in photography has grown these past years, and I've started a small photo company, nothing to serious yet. Mostly weddings and portraits. I'm also very interested in Photoshop and retouching, so I spend a lot of spare time on google and forums, always interested in trying new ways of doing things.
The reason I'm posting is that I put up one of these "flashy" fast retouching videos on my blog(found on www.picturelakefoto.se/blogg
) where I retouch a photo of my girlfriend. I got kind of stressed when recording the video(my first time using screen recording software), so I did some weird stuff out of stress, trying to keep the video quite short - as an example I did not do the first pass of cloning, healing on a duplicate layer, something i normally would do.
Anyways just thought you could check it out. I don't do anything really out of the ordinary....Just some color tweaks, dodge/burn, a hint of inverted high pass, and that Amy Dresser shine-thing towards the end....combined with luminousity masks.
Anyways, just sort of wanted to say thanks to all the helpful people here, willing to share their knowledge.
(it's in swedish..., but lots of pictures)
