haha Oops. Didn't notice that at the bottom of the page.
Photon 2 Pixel, though was the guys "name" who created the action, just to be clear. That confused me a bit.

So on that note, I just tried two. It just automates the separation. And the other one did separate the layers and made the low frequency a smart object and duplicated the High Frequency layer about 6 times with masks. I didn't try the others.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm not big on actions nor am I comfortable using someones shortcut actions (I feel like I am cheating). I like doing things manually, along with teaching and learning from others. I like to interpret what I learn in my own creative manner. Although, that's just me, no harm if anyone else who does. I am the same with everything in my life, some what of a traditionalist (or as much as one could be in this age of digital-ism). Anyway, didn't notice any advantages of using the actual actions.
