New member looking for help with technique.
I am looking for someone with advertising retouching experience who could help me with some pointers to how I can achieve a certain look in my work.
I have attached an image of a photograph that is not my copyright, but a beautiful example of a very current look in retouching and I am trying to find out how to achieve a similar look in Photoshop.
I have searched the internet and book stores for ever, without finding any leads, so I have now turned to forums.
I hope this is posted correctly and look forward to any advice offered.
Thanks and regards David.
Re: New member looking for help with technique.
Look for Dragan style in the way to learn how to make photos look more depth.
Basicly it's a dodge and burn techinque (d&b) with a blue chanel pasted in overlay mode.
Play with curves or other adj layers in the way to ochieve the tone u want.
Take in mind that the most important thing in this type of retouch is the starting photo u have and in particular way a good lighting.
Make some try and let us know if u need more info.
Have a nice day,
