Re: How to adjust like this tone?

This is similar to what you got if you developped a printfilm in slidefilm-chemistry.

There is software, like for example alienskin exposure, that can do this (and a lot of other real film simulating like different grains etc.)

To get similar results try the following:
Create a Curves adjustment layer.
Set the blue channel: 255 to 210
Set the green channel: 255 to 233
The red channel stays as is.
(See Curves Adjustment attached)

Good luck!
Michael

Re: How to adjust like this tone?

Then you should be asking how to turn on the oven, rather than how to make lobster thermidor.

I have nothing against people who see an image and want to make their own look the same. But if you really want to grab any image and be able to do whatever you want with it, the key is to know the ingredients rather than a couple recipes for specific results.

Re: How to adjust like this tone?

Last I checked, the site was RetouchPRO. Not RetouchBASICS. Anyone here is willing to help and share knowledge, but knowing what to ask for is part of the game.

Flexmanta offers much. He needs to justify nothing.

You left out one important thing: spend about ten years trying stuff and screwing it up until you finally figure out all the things that don't work, and then don't do those any more.
