How to achieve retro fashion color look?

I 'm trying to emulate a certain retro look that has been a popular amongst fashion/lifestyle photographers. I'm having a hard time trying to achieve the same look w. photoshop. it's almost like vintage /retro/ cross process. I like the fact that the skin tone still maintains a nice bronze/peachy color tone, unlike some cross process where it just goes to unnaturally looking yellow or red. Can anyone tell me how to achieve this in photoshop?

The first and third one is simply curves and hue/saturation adjustments and the middle one uses a color hazing technique with gradient mapping.

Im curious about hat first image. you say curves and hue and saturation but I was wondering if you could be a bit more specific on how to get that desaturation and yet still be vibrant.

I think only the blue channel was adjusted to get the "blueish" tone.
