fashion dvd tutorial

hi everyone,

im new here but registered in 2008 i think, it's my first post and want to learn from you all

right now im looking for a fashion dvd tutorial that also teaches the overall look of the image..i really like bruno dayans work, i know that he's very good in terms of lighting his subject to produce good result.. is there a fashion retouching dvd to how to post process to get those or similar effects in PS including skin retouching etc..? thank you

I think most of Dayans color effekts are painted on a Layer in color, solft Light or Overlay

Der W....$79 is not pricey...$250 and $350 is pricey.

Maybe it's because I'm not too much into buying DVDs.
I rather learn online ;-)

Der W, thanks for the recomendation. that seems an interesting dvd, has a money back and it's 79euro. but cant find any review or feedback about it..

gene, yes..calvinize really is a good one, some new stuff i learn from it and it's fun to watch, when calvin said ''holy ssht (and fake cough)'' i almost fell of my chair lol.. i got it 4 days ago and like to congratulate calvin for the success of his dvd and hope more dvds to come, thanks idol calvin.

skydog, i completely agree..$250-$350 is really expensive, unless i could really learn alot lot from it. i saw and had read that burning thread about ''mastering retouching'' wow! that thread is burning..i have almost decided to purchase it after seeing its ad and visited the site, it's really tempting with all those pretty girls in the site..thanks to those who toke the time writing reviews about it..it really save my hard earn $..

Natalia Taffarel's DVD "Beauty and Hair Retouching" is very good, focusing mostly on skin and hair work, among other things. I have learnt a lot from it and would highly recommend it.

natalia's dvd, by reading all the raving reviews..im really wanting it..just visited her site..i think i'll be getting it..

I really don't think Natalia got good by buying someone's DVD...I'm sure it came from her creativity, reading, experimenting and practice. It's also possible that she had a mentor, but bottom line it was from her dedication and focus.

Working through a DVD probably won't deliver instant success, but learning from other peoples' experience is part of the whole process. Natalia shares her experience through her DVD.

When I started there wasn't ANY high end retouching DVDs :/

That's why I made this one.

Yep, get this. I'll be picking it up myself later in the year, but I can recommend it on the basis of the sample videos and Natalia's extensive knowledge of the subject alone. Whether you're doing fashion, beauty or product it all comes down to the same understanding of the tools and techniques.
