Colour Manipulations

Hi

This is my first post. I am interested to find out how a look like the enclosed link be achieved.

I have seen a printed version in a mag the colours looked intense but subdued.

Maybe it's achieved using HDR (hard to say with a scaled/compressed image) which means that you take multiple shots of the same location but at different camera settings, and then you assemble them to make a super defined shot using the best of the highlights, the best of the shadows etc...But maybe I'm wrong, others may tell...

There are different 3rd party software to help this process of HDR as well for combining the images. One is "Dynamic-Photo HDR" and also "Photomatrix Pro". You can also put a single image in those as well to get almost the same effect but it wont be true HDR. But those are very helpful in gaining the lighting, coloring and contrast you looking for.
