Cs5/ portrait proccessing .

Hello everyone. I'm looking to up my skills in photo shop cs5 esp with retouching portraits.

I want to try and get similar look as Amy dresser and also want to change skin colour' s esp to whites and light creams . Also want to try and incorporate certain aspects of the ultra real look of Dave hill, Jill Greenberg (far more subtle though) Could anyone recommend dvd,s , books, links as i seem to have to wade through hours of crap on line that never seem to get it

(im very aware that a lot has to do with lighting configuration prior to photo shop )

PS Hello im new.
PPS To get an idea where i am at with processing heres some of my photos x

some interesting effects! I especially like 'pick up the pieces'. Not sure what the caption in the second picture means or has it been meddled with?

Oooo on flickr when you post in the strobist group you have to give lighting description and some people tend to be a little anal about info so my post was a little tongue in cheek x

Ricardo, welcome to RetouchPro. ou have an awesome portfolio with some wonderful portraits. I believe there are Amy Dresser videos from the RetouchPro Live events which are available for rent. There is a very long thread on the Dave Hill style on RP located here:
and a Jill Greenberg thread located here:
For some of your portraits I think that the techniques / training of Calvin Hollywood would be useful and can be explored here:
Regards, Murray
