crop & straighten photos ,white lines help

Question crop & straighten photos ,white lines help

hi

i used twice cs5 and the ruler tool ,there is a button straighten , it makes a great job!!


but on my laptop i have cs3 , i use the ruler & rotate canvas arbitrary to straighten photos and automate -> straighten photos

but it leaves white lines in the corners

what's wrong ?

because when you rotated the image (straightened it) you moved part of the it out of the canvas. The white is the the part of the new canvas that no longer contained part of the old (crooked) image.

press cntrl-A,then cntrl-T to choose 'transform' for the whole picture and just drag the corners out a little tiny bit to cover the white or fill in the wite corners manually using the clone tool if enlarging is not an option for that image.

but cs5 does not leave white lines , instead cs3 does
