Re: How to manage with back light? My quick method: straightened Soft History Brush set at Multiply for the brighter area between the girls and faded to taste (several passes fading each on other light areas also) Multiply layer for dresses screen layer for parts of faces and arms and legs Hue saturation layer to reduce reds and yellows some Sharpened eyes, lips, jewelry Final dress adjustments a bit of cloning and healing on the final combined layer

Re: How to manage with back light? How is this? I kinda winged it, mainly you have to adjust the levels while using your selection tool.

Re: How to manage with back light? Well I thought I'd be different and use a very rarely used PS command. On a copy of the BG did Image>Adjust>Equalize. Added a layer mask and applied a black to white radial gradiant on the mask from the center outward. The only thing remaining was to burn the flare where the young ladies' heads come together. I tried the Shadow/Highlight adjustment but did not like the results. Regards, Murray
