Bloody BW Toning Again
I live near where this shot is taken. Although I don't want to copy styles, I am trying to recreate something similar in shot and tones. Once I do this I have an understanding of how it's done.
Im assuming, it's ND grads, Polarizer, ND filter e.t.c it's the colour work. It might be infra red Im not sure but if you have a look at this series of work and his seascapes any help is appreciated on this..
His RPS image on the 1st page is another example of the toning I'd like to achieve.
Once I understand it, I can work with it...
Thanx in advance
Re: Bloody BW Toning Again
he may have used ND to get a longer exposure to achieve the motion blur of the clouds
(1st image)... if it is not done in post.
convert to BW to get the luminosity you are after
add gradiant-map layer (experiment with the gradient)
