Settings to use for convert to profile?

I am preparing some images for the web. The files are RGB. I think I found before that it was best to change the profile from RGB to sRGB in the covert to profile dialogue box before going to save for web to avoid color changes.

I am wondering what are the best settings to use in the convert to profile dialogue box for preparing images for the web? What should the intent be?

Flatten image to preserve appearance is only necessary if there are layer styles?

Thanks a lot.

Typically you would chose either relative colorimetric or perceptual. sRGB is the best for web.

Except when converting from working space to working space, you always get Relative Colorimetric. There is no perceptual table in simple, matrix ICC profiles like sRGB.

So does it matter in CS5 whether one does the conversions to sRGB in the save for web dialogue box or in the edit>convert to profile dialogue box? I think it used to in CS3, but I could be wrong.

No difference in terms of the conversion.
