Black Skin - First Retouch
I've started a new project shooting random strangers. Anyway, as a result I'm meeting totally new people of different creeds and colour and this has meant new challenges for me in photoshop.
One area I'm particularly keen to get right is an accurate representation of skin tones, which differs wildly depending on ethnicity.
Anyway, I would appreciate your comments on this shot:
If anyone is intersted the rest of my 'Stranger Awareness' project can be viewed
Re: Black Skin - First Retouch
lovely project! lovely shot. the composition also works for me. is it a dust bunny? orange over blue wall? to be honest, i like more hi-lights on skin, but i know ethnic skin can be very matt and blue in the undertone just as well. It is hard to judge on detail, as the face is too small.
