How to get effect like those images

Hi all,

I found someone posted a thread asking about how to get the effect of the images from links he posted, i am interesting in to know as well, so i replied to his thread with something i did to my daughter normal pic to see if i can get the same or closer, but i know myself that i am not a retoucher, so i will let this to pro retouchers here to do what they can do.

Had a little go but I'm not sure if it really compliments the existing colours.

Nice, i like it very much, it is much closer to the shots more than my retouches, hope you can tell me what you did so i can see where i made mistakes or where to improve.

It is ok, i have one large triangle softbox and better i have an Octabox 5' my favorite, but honestly speaking i fall in love with beauty dish the most.
