kickstarter.com declined to host project as it is not "creative enough" for them so...

when there's new info I will post, in the meantime - "share"

I'm glad it's of use to some, but to be honest I have no clue how many use it.

note to everyone:

the plugin is available for download through the Adobe Exchange:https://www.adobeexchange.com/

Re: Skin Smooth

the free 8bit version will be added as a "trail version" (unlimited time) of the 16 bit you found. hopefully I will find some time to do it in the next week or two.

Re: Skin Smooth

The trial version is sent to Adobe for approval, so it should automatically show up in the next few days. There are some restrictions on it, but as long as you don't use the images commercially it should be sufficient for the average user.

Note: if you already have the "standalone" free version do Not upgrade to this one (the trial version), as this one is slightly more restricted.

Tip: try pressing [SKIN] several times to get sharper skin-selection.

Re: Skin Smooth

I lost my account info (and don't remember what e-mail I used so I can't recover it) so I can't post from my usual account here, but there are some updates of the plugin:

Free upgrade for current users:
SkinSmooth 1.5 for CS6/CC ( http://goo.gl/TZZpBr )
(available until August 20th ! )
- there are a lot of major improvements and bug-fixes
- I strongly recommend you update asap if you are current user (it will not be possible after Aug 20th)

SkinSmooth 2.0 for CC ( http://goo.gl/uDdU4E )
- new: rasterize the corrective inverse wavelet to Dodge and Burn layers

The Trial versions are fully functional, but limited to 8bit, RGB.
Full versions are compatible with 8/16bit, RBG/CMYK/Lab

("help" instructions are no more there, I assume you know all those techniques and this is only to help what you do - to do it faster and easier)

Re: Skin Smooth

Reminder to anyone who has version 1.3 or less.

Legacy versions 1.3 and less are not CC compatible and if you ever intent to use CC you should update to version 1.5 (CC compatible) as soon as possible.
this upgrade is free

In five days version 1.5 will be retracted and it will not be possible to upgrade to it anymore.
(upgrading from versions 1.* to 2.* is not possible)
so please do not complain if you don't upgrade on time
