Re: Skin Smooth

Hi colpyk: Copy those 2 files, and put them in Photoshop's Panel... After that when you open Photoshop, go to Windows > Extensions and it should appear there...

Re: Skin Smooth

Were the instructions similar to the original ones you posted at the start of this thread?

Re: Skin Smooth

Hello everybody,
Does anyone still have saved a older version of the SkinSmooth plugin?
I'm most interested in http://mobilefiles.ca/SkinSmooth/smooth-v3.php
This is an absolutely amazing plugin, the only issue is that the latest version is limited to 8bit images. This is the reason i am asking for a previous version.
Please answer here, or bump me at rosca.ionel@gmail.com
Thank you in advance,
iRoshk

Re: Skin Smooth

I don't mind if anyone shares whatever versions you have.
My personal version is something that I can't post publicly,
and don't have the old versions at hand, so feel free to share.

Mask? Apply a black mask on your softened layer and paint the effect in with white where you want it?

Re: Skin Smooth

after clicking "rasterize" there will be a black mask created and disabled automatically.

just click on the black mask to activate it, and paint-in with white only where it's needed

note:
do NOT create a new SkinSmooth layer, while a mask is selected!
or you risk losing your image.

Re: Skin Smooth

Hi!

been away for a long time but still am a big fan of ShadowLight's PhotonicTools skin smooth plugin!

Here
my posts about it.

Unfortunately, as it has already happened before, I don't seem to be able to download from the site linked, in fact, whenever I try to go to http://www.46it.ca/skinsmooth/PhotonicTools_V6_2.zip or even only http://www.46it.ca .... I get the following error message:

The page isn't redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

I searched the internet for days trying to find a solution .... tried everything, but no luck .... Thinking that Firefox might be the problem, I tried IE, Opera, Safari, Google Chrome .... no go ... Somewhere I even read that 'borrowing' a friend's connection to the Internet might do the trick but, I haven't tried that yet.

My question ... has anybody else had the same problem? .... If yes, did you manage to solve it? How? (I'm still using Windows XP and mainly Firefox)

If there is no solution, could I ask somebody to be so kind and upload the latest version of the plugin here so I can download it?

Thank you in advance!!

Re: Skin Smooth

I have no idea why some people have problems downloading...

my paranoia says it's from tracking problems (browser does not send you to the correct address straight away and this way some other site knows which site you visited) and if that tracking redirects to itself (a bug) you get the above error.

anyway, good thing you shared
cheers

Re: Skin Smooth

No problem, shadow, let me know if you want me to take it down again, otherwise I'll leave it there for another couple of days in case anyone else has problems.

I don't mind if you share it.
(some people get the same problem with the download since day one)

Re: Skin Smooth

Thanks Shadow!!!

At least, now, I know I'm not the only one having the problem!!!

I had started to think my perfume was to blame ... it's called Eternity ... just like the 'never completing loops' ... Just kidding ...

It's really puzzling though ...

Anyway ... Great Job with the PhotonicTools ... I have already tried it and it works like magic!!!
