| Re: Skin effect Hi figueline: Although the size of this picture is very small, there is a lot of work there, but in short I'd say, Dodge and burn, and color adjustments on selected areas, I mean it is not a global work, as pro-retouches should be. |

| Re: Skin effect Thanks Boneappetit for your answer... Yes the picture is quite small... I found it on the web : no larger size... I really like this smooth skin texture... and just wondering how to get to the same result... |

| Re: Skin effect First of all start with good skin. Then use a channel mixer with the checkbox "Monochromatic" ticked, 100% blue channel, 0% red and green. Maybe add a curves adjustment layer with an S-curve to increase the contrast a little. Put both of these in a group and add a layer mask to it on which you paint in the effect just where you need it. You might also try adding noise and/or sharpening the areas as well. |

| Re: Skin effect What you see as smooth skin texture, "should be" some hours of Dodge and Burn. And I say should be, mainly because the size of the picture, but it looks pro. |
