Could you share with us how to do simple deconvolutions within PS? Such as the motion recovery which Topaz is demonstrating on their site?

It's funny, since I first heard about motion blur recovery back in 1990 or so when writing a paper about digital manipulation in grad school, I've only seen two products that have been made commercially available to do this: one of the FixerLabs products and the new InFocus (and possibly a product from Reindeer Graphics). Of these, only InFocus is currently being actively developed.

funny thing about trolling...

it looks like you always start it... why is that?

however I won't comment as I won't feed the troll ...

ps. this "sharpen" does not do motion blur deconvolution, but in the description it says it's used for sharpening... oh..noo.. did I just feed the troll

anyway, no more food for you buddy

One has got to wonder who the troll actually is here.

And FocusMagic also has motion deblur if I am not mistaken, pnp.

I'm not understanding your sensitivity to trolls here (??).

Yes, I think you're correct about FocusMagic. My test results with InFocus reminded me of using FM some years ago. Best I can tell, FM was last updated in June '09.

secretagents... indeed.

plugsnpixels, it's a long story of personal attacks ...

I showed a simple way to replicate the example results... and of course the "useful comments" to discredit the given information followed.

Lets just say it's not happening for the first time.

cheers

Re: New Topaz plug-in! Sharpening and blur correct

I guess it's the nature of forums and any other place where one can post public comments (check out the comments for any news story posted on CNN, etc. and you'll get the idea. I've also seen people with rare music collectibles get beaten down by an angry and highly skeptical forum mob when they're just trying to tell people what they have).

Adults should be able to have mature discussions, even if they disagree. While the burden of proof is on those with new ideas and new products, the audience should at least give them a chance.

Well, my response was implying you were the troll here to my eyes, not the other way around.

Since the second post of this thread that you've somehow hijacked, you claim this plug isn't worth the money, giving some PS sharpening recipe of yours as to to "prove" it, skipping altogether entirely its most powerful feature, motion deblur. Then when someone picks you up on this you first call him a troll and then later claim you are victim of personal attack, come on!
