smooth Cove / Colorama Background

Hey All
Would love any tips on getting an even background - did a shoot in a cove where the floor and walls were quite uneven in texture, also get this problem with Coloramas ( usually that ripple effect from uneven floors) not sure if bluring is the best technique

any ideas would be most helpful x

Re: smooth Cove / Colorama Background

Have you tried lighting your background.

I think a shot more in context would help

Re: smooth Cove / Colorama Background

From your example I would use the median filter and probably mask it back in
and add some noise as it will probably get too smooth.
It would be better to see the whole image to geta better idea though.

thanks for the replies so far - here is a better picture, well of the floor any ways - the ripple are pretty distracting

something like that?

used skinsmooth with masking of the floor only
(or you can manually do inverted high-pass)

actually, I like it better as is, it looks real, the one posted by ShadowLight, even though the floor is clean, it looks as if it was taken in a studio and the subject is standing on some sort of gray background.
