What do you consider a revision?

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if you could explain to me what you consider a revision on a picture and what would be considered more than a revision, which you might charge extra for. Also how many revisions do you offer on your pics?

Thank you.

Re: What do you consider a revision?

Additional changes not mentioned in primary preferences can be considered for additional fee.

Usualy I provide as many revisions as needed to achieve the desirable look.

Re: What do you consider a revision?

It all depends on the brief. If you don't have one, you're pretty much screwed

Discuss everything before hand - I usually ask for the client to mark up everything they want done or give a written description, obvious skin/hair issues are a given.

Everything not included in the original brief is charged by the hour.

Most of the times I give unlimited revisions because I don't get more than one. But when they know you're going to charge them they don't say things like : Can we have the BG blue instead of red?
