Re: Hello Everyone What's wrong with this picture?

I agree that your lighter version versus the more dramatic artistic rendition is generally more acceptable in the commercial world. Think you did a pretty good job of obtaining the results you wanted. An earlier valid comment on perspective could help, but it is only modest. You could adjust for your vertical lines by selecting all and doing a very slight distort to get your outer verticals better aligned - use guidelines to assist you. It is only going to be slight. Your color saturation is a bit much for me, but that is a very "subjective" thing and your client may very well like the added color. One thing that seems odd to me - but obviously was how the camera captured it is the distortion or odd alignment of the ceiling chandelier plate to the ceiling perspective and chandelier. Overall... I like it - and I think your client will too. Again, you are not going for a fine art masterpiece.

I copied the layer using multiply as the blending mode at 30% opacity.

On top of that I used a vibrance adjustment layer.

I sense some halo-ing coming from excessive sharpening though I could be wrong. The others are right that it's a tad bright. Overall however I think it's a great pic Not a whole lot wrong with it!
