Anybody knows hair plug-in

I am working on one model retouching and want to change or enhance front line of the hair so it looks wavy and brushed backwards. Also it must be quiet flat. Not an expert in girls hair cut to explain but hope you get my idea. So i just wondering if there is any kind of plug-in to add some hair or whole hair cut? Thank you.

Re: Anybody knows hair plug-in

I usually do wavy hair by adding portions of the existing hair on a new layer, transform them by liquify or warp (CS4), more often a combination of the two, and enhance the wavy look with D&B... (I don't use any plug-ins...). For the rest, honestly, I don't know...But it happen sometimes that you have to correct undyied roots (with stamp tool in color mode or a light brush and D&B, for me), missing hair due to implantation (Stamp tool small shape, high hardness). It's just the way I figured out a bit by myself, so I don't know if it's the most accurate way to do.

Re: Anybody knows hair plug-in

Plug-ins, no, but maybe hair brushes (not to be confused with hairbrushes).

Re: Anybody knows hair plug-in

You might try a couple hair tutorials from Bert Monroy about hair:

`1] .. fast forward through the first 3 minutes of commercials before the tutorial on Secrets of Photoshop Hair Brushes starts

`2] .. fast forward through the first 2 1/2 minutes of commercials before the tutorial Create Hair with Highlights in Photoshop

Or

Use high Res photo of hair style you want ... copy N paste, free transform to fit then color if needed and blend in

Practice Cubed

It alright! I merely think that nobody invented nothing really...It's all a global or collective conscience at some point, It just gets quicker if you say it rather than waiting the ideas to fall from the sky.

Re: Anybody knows hair plug-in

Thank you very much. Very valuable links and advice. I might do a little hair production but dont want to be involved into that too much.High resolution hair from someone else probably sounds realistic
