rebuilding texture over motion blur
I have a picture here where one foot is motion blurred and the other is not.
My problem here is that I want to fix the blurred one by rebuilding the leather texture on it by sampling from the healthy boot.
You can see where I am in the process so far but I have lots of troubles finishing it. Particularly in the area just above the ankle where the creases are.
Any help on this ?
Re: rebuilding texture over motion blur
You've got the right idea but need to be more selective in the areas you graft. Be wary also of focus and lighting as these attributes set the scene and give the image a plausible finish. For example, why would the boot be sharper than the leg it is attached to. Why is the leg dark but the leather high-lighted. Get the lighting to match the original and you'll be much closer. BTW - make a copy layer and try a High Pass filter; then set to Linear light at 50% opacity over the original boot - there may be enough crispness in that to solve your problem
