| Skin tone problem Hello Everybody It's my first post here. I'm trying to achieve smooth skin tones. I wanted to remove lighter spots using D&B but I wasn't successful. It was shortage of my skills or should I use different technique? The image is not sharp but it's only part of bigger one which focuses in other area. Regards |

| Re: Skin tone problem Supjak, welcome to RetouchPro! You can use D&B to even out the skin. I have attached a screenshot of a few minutes of work on the foot using D&B - a separate Dodge and a separate Burn curve. If you have a lot of this on the rest of the infant, D&B will take you a long time. And since an infant's skin is usually pretty smooth some of the other techniques would be very acceptable. These include the clone, patch, and healing tools. You could also perform a Frequency Separation of the image and work on the separate high and low layers. You will find lots of threads and tutorials here at RP on D&B, Frequency Separation, and Smooth Skin. Regards, Murray |
