Help with colour spill

I have an image which was shot in a studio under lights, I am currently in the process of compositing it with other elements, my problem is that if I change the colour of the dress from red to blue, the light spill/reflection is still left on the skin from the red dress, my question is how to change it to a more natural blue spill/reflection, without changing the image into a rendition of an avatar?

One way that I tried here is to use the Colour Replacement tool. Selected a light skin tone on the arm and set to Contiguous at 10-12% painted using Hue. Also changed a bit here and there with tool set to Luminosity and Colour. While maybe not exactly the blue shade you are looking for there is no reason why you could not take it a little further.

First sample good skin color and on a color layer paint over the red reflection.

Then on another color layer with a soft brush sample dress color and paint over the arm where the reflection will fall.

Then adjust opacity of the layer for the look you want.
