Re: Retouched work

You've lost the contours of her face somewhat, particularly her cheekbones and lips. It gives her a kind of puffy look. May I ask how you retouched it e.g. mostly dodge and burn, or cloning? I'm no expert, but my advice would be to be the most cautious when retouching around the bone structure and facial features, as if you go overboard here it won't look natural.

Re: Retouched work

The last image that Mr Khanh posted looks like you just took the opacity of a blurred layer down a bit. Looks more fake than the original 'after' picture. It went from no skin texture to an eggshell texture. What method were you using to smooth the skin?

Re: Retouched work

Thanks for ur comments
Actually i m using more of cloning tools with 10-15% opacity and little bit of D&B which still i m learning watching various tutorials and whats happening with this image is that i have to reduce the size as well lower the resolution quiet a bit which is making it look very blur. Still thanks all of u for ur critiques.

Re: Retouched work

I think plug ins kill the images so if everybody start using it retouchers like amy , natalia etc will have no work to do, retouching requires lots of patience and manual retouching only will give u best results.
