| Blurred photos... Hi!! I am an amateur photographer and would like to learn more about retouching. I took a set of images the other day which I am really pleased with as is but I would like to know how to create this blurry/smokey effect on images. The sort of thing I am talking about you can see on a lot of these fab images - http://www.charlotterutherford.com/fashionone.php Any help would be great! Thanks |

| Re: Blurred photos... Duplicate your background layer and go to the channels palette. Then go to "Select"-"Select all" and use the move tool to move the individual channels to the left or right. But this is just one of the effects used (and not all of them are used on each image). Furthermore the blacks are offset, some cross processing was done and maybe a color layer in "Soft Light" mode overlays the images. |
