Blending modes

Hello everyone,

Does anybody know where I can find an outline for what the different blending modes actually do to a picture? I can see by messing about with them how they effect the picture but don't understand what it is actually doing.

Re: Blending modes

hi,
a similar answer...
this site i like because it goes thru the explaining the modes but also it give real world example tutorial of it usage...
http://www.photoshopessentials.com/p...r-blend-modes/

also if your not aware of it a tip.. you can cycle thru the blends without clicking one at a time.. saves a lot of time...especially if your experimenting...

with my ps version all i need to do is just click the blend window in the layer pallet just once and then i can use the up and down arrow keys to cycle thru I love that...lol
